The Bhagavad Gita is widely revered as one of the greatest jewels of spiritual wisdom in the history of humankind. It is also known as Gitopanishad, or the Gita Upanishad, as it encapsulates most of the important aspects of the knowledge of the Vedas. Bhagavad means “of God” and Gita means “song.” Hence, the Bhagavad Gita literally means “Song of God.” It describes the divine dialogue that took place between the Supreme Lord Shree Krishna and his devotee Arjun on the battleground. Since its teachings are exceedingly profound, the Bhagavad Gita required an equally insurmountable crisis as its setting.

I Have read atleast 2 other versions of Gita, including As it is, by Prabhupada. Now, i am nothing compared to his standard of bhakti towards sri krishna, but i tried a lot to grasp it. Just couldn’t feel it no matter how hard i tried. Ever since i laid my hands on this beautiful Commentary by Swamiji (Now, My Guru too). I am Delving deep into the mysteries and Beautiful world of God. I’m loving it. Language is so easy and understandable. Sentences are Lucid. Properly defined everything with clarity. Best Buy, Must Buy.

Bhagwad Gita is a way of life. These are divine teachings which are not limited to only one religion. These teachings are eternal. Swami Mukudananda has given an excellant commentary of each shloka. Guruji has made it very easy to comprehend. The best explnation I ever have read. It directly appeals the soul and seems as if we are having a direct conversation with the supreme soul.
Great service to humanity by publishing this book and giving a chance to human beings to be bestowed with eternal truth and teachings!

    Hare Krishna…
